Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer to take a key engineering role on one of the most technically interesting civil infrastructure projects currently underway in Ireland.
You’ll be joining one of Europe’s largest Tier 1 Main Contractors, with a long track record of delivering major infrastructure across Ireland and Britain, including complex roads, bridges, rail, marine, energy, water and transport projects.
This particular project offers a genuinely varied engineering scope, combining major structural and bridge works with heavy civils, earthworks, drainage, utilities, road construction and all other associated infrastructure.
They place a strong emphasis on developing its staff and internal progression is actively encouraged, with structured learning & development opportunities and the scale to offer future exposure to major projects across Ireland, Britain and further afield.
At Senior Engineer level, you’ll be given significant responsibility across programme, quality, temporary works and site delivery, while also supporting and developing the engineers around you.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering activities across the project, providing technical guidance and support to Site Engineers, Graduate Engineers and site teams.
- Plan and coordinate day-to-day works in conjunction with the wider project team, ensuring critical activities are prioritised and delivered in line with programme.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and engineering interfaces to ensure works progress safely and efficiently.
- Manage quality assurance across the works, including ITPs, inspections, testing, site records and implementation of the project Quality Management System.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience working as a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer in Ireland.
- Previous experience across bridges, roads, marine works or major infrastructure.
- A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of engineering activities on site.
The Package:
