The Role – Senior Estimator
As Senior Estimator, you’ll play a pivotal role within the pre-construction team, taking ownership of major tenders and contributing to the strategic growth of the business. Working on large-scale building projects, you’ll bring a commercial mindset, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to delivering competitive and accurate cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality tenders and bids.
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to produce detailed cost estimates.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and technical input.
- Review and challenge tender documentation to identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options.
- Work closely with the Pre-Construction Manager, Bid Managers, and Design Teams to ensure fully coordinated submissions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the estimating team.
- Support strategic business development through accurate cost data and market insights.
