You will play a key role in leading project delivery, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and acting as a trusted point of contact for clients. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems including HVAC, heating, cooling and ventilation
- Manage projects from initial concept through detailed design, construction support and final handover
- Ensure all designs meet Irish building regulations, CIBSE guidelines and relevant industry standards
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects and wider design teams to ensure integrated project delivery
- Review and produce technical calculations, specifications and reports
- Attend client and design team meetings, providing technical input and solutions
- Oversee quality of design outputs and ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Support and mentor junior engineers within the team
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Strong experience within an Irish building services consultancy environment
- Proven track record delivering projects independently, not just supporting senior staff
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical design principles
- Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and CIBSE standards
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Hevacomp
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage with clients and design teams
- Organised, detail-focused and driven to deliver high-quality work on time
