An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planner to join a major hyperscale Data Centre project in Mons, Belgium. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and developing the project schedule, ensuring alignment with critical milestones and overall programme objectives.
This role requires deep technical proficiency in Primavera P6, a strong understanding of Critical Path Methodology (CPM), and proven experience delivering large-scale data centre projects across Europe.
You’ll be working closely with the Lead Planner based in Frankfurt, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery on one of Europe’s most advanced data infrastructure builds.

Senior Planner Skills:
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in construction planning, with at least 3+ years in data centre or similar large-scale MEP-intensive projects.
- Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and a strong understanding of Critical Path Methodology.
- Proven track record of managing complex schedules from design to commissioning on high-value projects (€100M+).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate schedule risks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; confident in client-facing environments.
- Experience working in multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary project environments across Europe.
- Engineering or construction-related degree preferred.
As a Senior Planner:
- Develop, monitor, and control detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 throughout all project phases (design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover).
- Identify, analyse, and communicate the Critical Path and key project interfaces to the wider team.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and procurement teams to integrate discipline-specific schedules into the master programme.
- Track progress against baseline plans, producing variance reports and recovery plans as necessary.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key risks and mitigation strategies.
- Support project planning reviews and ensure programme compliance with client requirements and internal standards.
- Work alongside the site and project management teams to ensure effective coordination between trades, subcontractors, and project phases.
- Analyse project delays, support claims preparation, and assist in schedule impact assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement in project planning processes, tools, and performance reporting
