The Company
This international M&E engineering contractor delivers major pharmaceutical, data centre, industrial and technically complex projects across Ireland and Europe.
They are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join their Galway team, supporting programme delivery across major M&E projects.
The Role: Senior Planner
You will take ownership of project planning, scheduling and progress reporting, working closely with Project Managers, commercial teams and site management.
You will develop labour-loaded programmes, monitor productivity and programme risk, and provide clear reporting to support project delivery.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Senior Planner with strong construction knowledge, commercial awareness and the confidence to challenge programme assumptions and advise project teams on delivery risk.

The Role: Senior Planner

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5+ years’ construction planning experience.
- Strong Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project experience required.
- Proven experience developing and managing detailed construction programmes.
- M&E, pharmaceutical, data centre or major industrial project experience preferred.
- Develop and maintain fully integrated construction programmes.
- Manage labour loading, S-curves and progress tracking.
- Monitor earned hours, productivity and programme performance.
- Produce look-ahead programmes and progress reports.
- Identify programme risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support programme negotiations with clients and main contractors.
- Mentor and support Project Planners and junior team members.
