Job title: Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential & Education Construction
Location: North Dublin, Co Dublin
Company: Irish Main Contractor delivering major residential and education projects
Package: €90,000 to €95,000 + vehicle, fuel, pension and bonus
The Company
This Irish main contractor delivers major residential, education and public sector construction projects across Dublin and the wider Leinster region.
With a strong pipeline of €multi-million developments in North Dublin, the company is looking to strengthen its commercial team with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.
The Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Based in North Dublin, Co Dublin, you will take commercial responsibility across large residential developments and major school projects.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and site teams, you will manage costs from subcontractor procurement through to final account while maintaining strong commercial control throughout the project.

About You
You will be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong main contractor background and the ability to take ownership of the commercial side of a project.
You should be comfortable dealing with subcontractors, site teams and senior management while maintaining a close eye on cost control, procurement and project margins.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 6+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience within the construction sector
- Main contractor experience in Ireland is required
- Proven experience managing subcontractor packages, valuations and final accounts
- Experience on large residential, education or similar building projects required
Preferred Experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Experience on €multi-million residential developments or large schools
- Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts and procurement
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets, cost reporting and commercial forecasting
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages
- Prepare valuations, variations and final accounts
- Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks
- Manage subcontractor payments and account negotiations
- Work closely with site teams to track progress and expenditure
- Provide accurate commercial reporting to senior management
About You
