The Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
This Senior Quantity Surveyor role is based in Skellefteå, Sweden on a major data centre construction project. You will take full responsibility for the commercial management of key project packages while working closely with project delivery, procurement, and commercial teams.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a critical role in cost control, subcontractor management, financial reporting, and contractual administration across the full project lifecycle.
This is a commercially important position within a fast-paced live construction environment and would suit someone with strong main contractor experience on large-scale projects.

About You
You will be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background delivering large-scale construction projects for a main contractor. You will have excellent commercial awareness, strong negotiation ability, and a proven track record managing costs and contracts on complex projects.
You should be confident working within a fast-paced site environment, coordinating with operational teams, and maintaining strong financial control across multiple packages.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 8 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction
- Proven experience required with a main contractor on large-scale construction projects
- Strong commercial and contractual management experience required
- Experience managing subcontractor accounts, variations, and final accounts
- Data centre, industrial, or mission critical project experience is highly advantageous
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on international construction projects
- Strong knowledge of procurement and cost reporting systems
- Experience working alongside multidisciplinary site teams
- Ability to manage multiple work packages simultaneously
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of the project
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
- Lead subcontractor procurement, tendering, and negotiations
- Manage subcontractor valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities
- Prepare interim valuations and applications for payment
- Ensure accurate commercial reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Attend commercial meetings, site meetings, and project reviews
- Support Project Managers and delivery teams with commercial advice
- Ensure contractual documentation is maintained and up to date
- Assist with financial reporting for senior management
- Resolve commercial and contractual issues efficiently
