The Company
This established international main contractor is delivering large-scale data centre projects across Europe, with a strong pipeline of work within the mission-critical sector.
For a Senior Safety Advisor looking to develop their European data centre experience, this is an opportunity to join an experienced project team in Finland, with an attractive rotation, accommodation, regular flights home and an excellent overall package provided.
The Role: Senior Safety Advisor
This Senior Safety Advisor role will be based on a major data centre project in Finland, working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and construction teams.
You will take responsibility for day-to-day Health & Safety on site, ensuring works are completed safely and in line with project procedures while maintaining a strong site presence and positive safety culture.

About You
You will be a Senior Safety Advisor who is comfortable maintaining a strong presence on site and dealing directly with construction teams and subcontractors.
You should be confident carrying out inspections, reviewing RAMS, identifying potential risks and addressing Health & Safety issues directly with site management.
This would particularly suit someone looking to build their career within the European data centre sector while working on a major international project.

Must Have Requirements
- Previous experience in a site-based Health & Safety role
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification
- Strong knowledge of construction Health & Safety procedures
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects
- Ability to confidently engage with site teams, management and subcontractors
- Willingness to work in Finland on a rotational basis
Preferred Experience
- Data centre experience highly beneficial
- Main contractor background preferred
- Pharmaceutical, industrial or mission-critical construction experience advantageous
- Previous European project experience beneficial
Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Carry out regular site inspections and Health & Safety audits
- Review RAMS, risk assessments and method statements
- Work closely with site management and subcontractors to maintain strong safety standards
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are closed out
- Assist with incident reporting and ongoing safety improvements
