Overview:
This Senior Site Engineer position offers you a chance to join one of Ireland’s leading residential developers on a major €60m Residential Development in North Dublin.
This is a substantial multi-phase development incorporating a large mix of houses, duplexes and apartment buildings alongside extensive infrastructure, utilities, roads, drainage, landscaping, public realm and community amenities.
As Senior Site Engineer, you’ll take a lead role from an engineering perspective, overseeing setting out, quality, technical coordination and subcontractor works while working closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, design team and other senior members of the project team.
You’ll have the opportunity to take real ownership of your section of the development, mentor more junior engineers and build towards progression into Site Management or Project Management as the project develops.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead setting out and surveying activities, ensuring works are completed accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Review drawings, specifications and quantities, identifying and resolving technical issues before they impact construction
- Coordinate with the Site Manager, Project Manager, design teams, consultants and subcontractors throughout the project
- Supervise and monitor subcontractor works, ensuring quality and programme requirements are achieved
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Site Engineering with Irish Main Contractor/Residential Developer
- Previous experience working on large housing or apartment developments
- Previous experience in working alongside Uisce Éireann and ESB
