Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering team on-site, ensuring all construction activities are executed in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with project management to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and site personnel, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role with an Irish Main Contractor/Developer
- Proven track record of managing engineering projects, with strong technical knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
