We are seeking a Service & Maintenance Manager to lead a growing technical services team supporting municipal, industrial, and commercial customers across the water and industrial sectors based out of Co Kildare.
This is a key leadership role responsible for managing day-to-day service operations, developing the team, and driving the continued expansion and improvement of the service and maintenance business.
You will ensure the efficient delivery of planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance while maintaining strong commercial performance, excellent customer relationships, and full compliance with HSQE requirements.

Service & Maintenance Manager Skills:
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to build, mentor, and develop service teams.
- Proactive mindset with a strong problem-solving approach and the ability to manage technical, resource, and commercial challenges.
- Experience managing service operations within the water, wastewater, or industrial process sectors is essential.
- Strong commercial awareness, including pricing, tendering, budgeting, and margin control.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.
- Proven track record of implementing and optimising operational processes.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Manage day-to-day service operations across municipal, industrial, and commercial water treatment sites.
- Oversee planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, and process equipment within water and industrial environments.
- Ensure all service works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with water industry standards, regulations, and best practice.
- Lead, support, and develop the service team to meet customer and operational requirements across water and industrial sectors.
- Use previous experience in water treatment, wastewater systems, pumping systems, or industrial process equipment to troubleshoot issues and guide the team.
- Review and approve service reports, quotations, pricing, and work orders through the ERP system.
- Manage customer relationships with municipal authorities, industrial clients, and commercial users, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Prepare tenders, quotations, and maintenance proposals specific to water and industrial service contracts.
- Drive continuous improvement across service processes, documentation, and workflows, enhancing efficiency and operational consistency.
- Ensure HSQE compliance across all service activities, including RAMS, toolbox talks, and safe systems of work.
- Lead the out-of-hours service function, coordinating emergency responses and providing technical oversight when required.
- Deliver monthly performance reports, KPIs, and operational updates to senior management.
