A leading Irish Civil Engineering Contractor is currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join their team on a €multi-million groundworks package for a Tier 1 Main Contractor on a major Data Centre project in West Dublin.
Working alongside an experienced site management team, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a high profile project, with opportunities for long term career progression into Senior Engineer and Site Management positions.
The company offers a supportive and collaborative working environment, investing heavily in modern surveying technology, employee development and ongoing training, while providing exposure to some of the largest and most technically challenging projects in the country.

Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 3 years of experience working as a Setting Out Engineer in Ireland.
- Strong experience using Total Station, GPS and surveying equipment.
- Full clean Irish driver’s licence is required.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out site surveying, setting out and levelling works using Total Station and GPS equipment.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with design drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with site management, subcontractors and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor and record site progress, maintaining accurate records and as-built information as well as relaying this on to the Project Manager and Senior Site Management team.
