This is a fantastic opportunity for a Setting Out Engineer with 2–5 years’ experience to join a major project in Co. Tipperary. The site features a substantial earthworks package and a technically complex reinforced concrete (RC) frame structure.
Ideal for an engineer based in the Tipperary region, this role offers long-term local employment without the hassle of long commutes or relocation. Responsibilities:
- Perform setting out duties accurately using robotic total stations, GPS, and level equipment.
- Assist with surveying, site measurements, and data collection to support construction activity.
- Work closely with the Senior Engineer and Site Manager to ensure smooth progression of works.
- Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, materials, and measurements.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in a site/setting out engineering role, with a Main Contractor in Ireland.
- Strong proficiency with setting out equipment (e.g. Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD).
- Sound understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
