The Company

One of Ireland’s leading civils and utilities contractor, trusted to deliver large-scale public and private infrastructure works across the country. With a strong presence in Leinster and a secure multi-year pipeline, they are recognised for their safety-first culture, technical delivery capability, and long-term frameworks that provide real job security.

They have major civils and utilities projects such as roads and pipelines across Dublin supported by in-house engineering, commercial, plant, and HSQE teams creating a structured environment where Site Agents can lead confidently and progress.


The Role – Site Agent

As Site Agent, you will take ownership of multiple civils and utilities projects, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and safety standards. This is a hands-on role with real autonomy, suited to someone who enjoys operational responsibility, client liaison, and driving teams on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run multiple projects across urban and rural environments, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
  
  
• Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders, building strong working relationships.
  
  
• Review drawings in detail, coordinate design updates, and resolve technical issues.
  
  
• Lead site teams, promoting strong planning, communication, and performance culture.
  
  
• Coordinate resources, labour, plant, and materials with support from Contracts Managers and Engineers.
  
  
• Monitor progress against programme and budget, identifying risks early.
  
  
• Oversee traffic management, HSQE compliance, and site safety checks.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records, daily reports, and project documentation.
  
  
• Act as first point of contact for the public and subcontractors, handling issues professionally.
  
  
• Drive continuous improvement through better processes and smart use of technology.
  
  

About You

• Full clean driving licence essential.
  
  
• Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  
  
• Strong civils / drainage / utilities background.
  
  
• Confident reading drawings, coordinating designs, and managing site activity.
  
  
• Commercially aware with experience tracking costs and progress.
  
  
• Solid HSQE knowledge and experience working to strict compliance standards.
  
  
• Comfortable leading crews, subcontractors, and multiple work fronts.
  
  
• Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure with strong communication skills.
