Overview
Are you a Site Agent in the Sligo area? Do you come from a strong civil engineering background?
This opportunity gives you the chance to take ownership of a major energy and infrastructure project that will play a key role in Ireland’s sustainable future. You’ll lead a skilled site team on complex civil and structural works, managing all aspects of delivery from planning through to handover.
You’ll be joining a highly respected civil engineering contractor with a proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure, utilities, and energy projects nationwide. Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the project
- Oversee site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the required technical standards.
- Manage all civil and structural elements of the project, including foundations, ducting, access roads, and utility interfaces.
- Liaise closely with the Project Manager, client representatives, and design teams to coordinate construction phases and resolve technical challenges.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in civil or infrastructure projects in Ireland
- Demonstrated ability to lead site teams and coordinate multidisciplinary works.
- Excellent understanding of HSEQ management, quality control, and technical delivery.
