Overview:
A leading Civil Engineering Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to take the lead on a street works project in Co. Meath, with additional road infrastructure schemes scheduled in the area until at least 2027.
This is a key management role, overseeing all on-site activities including supervision of works, coordination of subcontractors, safety & environmental compliance, and the mentoring of junior engineers. You will also be responsible for programming, reporting, and providing commercial support in collaboration with the project QS.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to long-term civil engineering projects across the region, working within an established contractor known for delivering high-quality infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.
- Supervise junior engineers and subcontractors, providing leadership and guidance on site.
- Liaise with stakeholders, attend meetings, and prepare detailed progress reports.
- Work alongside the QS on financials including monthly accounts and claims administration.
Requirements:
- Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-graduate experience, in Ireland
- Proven track record in managing civil engineering projects.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
