A highly respected Building Main Contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team on a major apartment development in the heart of Dublin City. The project consists of 180 apartments across a large reinforced concrete frame structure, also the project is in its early stages promising a good pipeline of work for the future and the opportunity to work on the start of a project right through until handover. You’ll gain invaluable large-scale project experience with a top-tier contractor, while building your career from project start through to completion. Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying works using the latest Total Station and GPS equipment.
- Overseeing site activities and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth progress.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure quality standards and compliance.
- Monitoring site progress, maintaining accurate records, and reporting to senior management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- 4–5 years post-qualification experience with an Irish Main Contractor.
- Proven track record of setting out on large commercial projects.
- Strong IT and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
