Excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a leading Irish Main Contractor delivering a major heritage and public sector redevelopment in Dublin City Centre.
It’s a genuinely interesting project from an engineering perspective, combining the careful redevelopment of existing historic buildings with new construction and the delivery of modern public and cultural facilities.
Beyond this project, the company has a strong pipeline of work across Dublin covering a variety of sectors, giving Engineers the opportunity to build broad construction experience and progress onto increasingly complex projects.
There’s a strong focus on developing people internally, with ongoing technical training, professional development support and experienced senior team members available to mentor Engineers as they progress.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out and surveying activities, ensuring works are completed accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Provide technical and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with the Site Manager, Senior Engineer and wider project team.
- Monitor construction quality and ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, Building Regulations, BCAR requirements and company standards.
- Monitor progress against the construction programme and assist with reporting and cost control.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer in Ireland.
- Strong setting out and quality control experience within the construction industry.
- Strong communication, organisational, technical and problem solving skills.
