Overview:
An established Irish Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to support the delivery of various €multi-million infrastructure projects across Cork and the wider Munster region. The works span water infrastructure, road construction, marine and general civil engineering schemes.
This role goes beyond a purely setting out role and is suited to an engineer who enjoys taking ownership on site. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating works, managing technical challenges and ensuring projects are delivered in time with programme and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing daily site activities in line with programme and safety requirements.
- Oversee subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring works are carried out efficiently and to specification.
- Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation including drawings, RFIs, method statements, inspections, and as-built information.
- Act as a key point of contact with design teams, clients, and site stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain progress.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Site Engineer role within the Irish civil engineering sector.
- Previous exposure to civil engineering projects such as water, roads, marine or general civils.
- Strong technical knowledge with experience working within QA/QC and site management systems.
