The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in site engineering, with a focus on setting out, project coordination, and subcontractor management. A high-end residential developer is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on one of the largest residential projects in the country. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in site engineering, with a focus on setting out, project coordination, and subcontractor management. This is an exciting role for a Site Engineer to progress their career working in a well-resourced company alongside some of Ireland’s best construction professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate setting-out for subcontractors, including gridlines and levels for various aspects such as foundations, floor slabs, block laying, services, and civil works.
- Supervise and monitor groundworks and civil engineering contractors to ensure timely and quality work.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors to achieve project objectives on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and detail.
- Coordinate and manage site drawings and documentation to ensure proper alignment with construction schedules.
Requirements:
- 2+ of experience in a similar role with an Irish Main Contractor/Developer preferably on residential projects
- Level 8 Engineering qualification
- Strong background in setting out/surveying
- Capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
