Overview
An excellent opportunity to join a well renowned Tier 1 Main Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects nationwide particularly within the pharma and life sciences sector.
They are about to start a €multi-million new build pharma facility in Co. Westmeath and are now looking for an experienced Site Engineer to strengthen the onsite engineering team. This is a flagship project with significant scale with top tier subcontractors and a strong project management setup already in place.

They are about to start a €multi-million new build pharma facility in Co. Westmeath and are now looking for an experienced Site Engineer to strengthen the onsite engineering team. This is a flagship project with significant scale with top tier subcontractors and a strong project management setup already in place.
If you’re keen to develop your career with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor and be involved from the early stages right through to completion, this role will be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the engineering function on site, ensuring works are completed safely, to programme, and to specification.
- Carry out setting-out and surveying for groundworks, RC structures, steel frame, external works, and specialist slabs.
- Assist in the management of QA documentation including ITPs, inspections, as-builts, and reports in line with client and project standards.
- Coordinate closely with the Senior Engineer, Site Manager, PM, design team, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries and maintain progress on site.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 2 years’ experience as a Site Engineer in Ireland.
- Good working knowledge of setting-out, surveying equipment, and reading technical drawings.
- Strong communication skills, a team-first attitude, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
