Overview:
Excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to join one of Ireland’s leading Tier 1 Main Contractors on the delivery of a major data centre project in Co. Wicklow.
This large-scale project incorporates significant concrete and structural works, extensive civil infrastructure, utilities, services, external works and the associated energy infrastructure.
You’ll be joining a contractor with 75+ years in the Irish construction industry, employing more than 500 people and delivering major projects across the Data Centre, Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Education, Life Science and Industrial sectors.
The company has a particularly strong track record in the data centre sector and continues to expand its mission critical capabilities in Ireland and internationally, giving you exposure to complex projects and excellent long term opportunities within this growing side of the business.
High performing employees are encouraged to take on additional responsibility, with genuine opportunities to progress into Senior Engineer and construction management positions in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out, levelling and surveying activities, ensuring works are completed accurately in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Monitor concrete quality through cube sampling, slump testing and associated quality control procedures.
- Work closely with the Senior Engineer, Site Manager and wider construction team to plan, coordinate and sequence works effectively.
- Liaise with subcontractors, design teams and other project stakeholders to resolve technical queries and ensure works progress efficiently.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience working as a Site Engineer in Ireland.
- Strong setting out experience with Total Station, GPS and associated survey equipment.
- Experience on data centre, industrial, commercial projects would be advantageous.
