An excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a highly respected Irish Main Contractor delivering a major healthcare project in County Longford.
The project is a substantial new build and refurbishment project within a live healthcare environment that will involve new residential accommodation, structural works, drainage and services, external works, access infrastructure and associated refurbishment works.
The company is a long established Irish contractor with 40+ years of experience, delivering large scale and high quality construction projects across residential, commercial and healthcare sectors.
The company places significant emphasis on recognising talent, providing tailored training and creating clear development pathways, with senior leaders expected to mentor and support employees as they progress.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out accurate setting out and surveying for structural elements, drainage, services, external works and finishes.
- Independently check dimensions, levels and completed works before subsequent activities proceed.
- Interpret architectural, structural and civil engineering drawings and identify any discrepancies or technical issues.
- Carry out QA/QC inspections and ensure completed works meet the required drawings, specifications and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience on building projects with an Irish Main Contractor.
- Strong practical setting out and surveying experience.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, with BIM/digital model experience beneficial.
