An Irish Civil Engineering Contractor is looking to recruit a Site Engineer to join their team on a major rail and civil infrastructure project in County Cork.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with 3-5 years of experience who is keen to broaden their technical knowledge and gain valuable experience on a significant and complex infrastructure project.
You'll be joining a highly experienced contractor with a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging infrastructure projects throughout Ireland, with extensive expertise across roads, bridges, rail, marine, water and other major civil engineering developments.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out and surveying for roadworks, earthworks, drainage, utilities, RC structures and associated civil engineering works.
- Work closely with the Senior Engineer, Site Agent, Foremen and subcontractors to coordinate daily engineering activities.
- Review drawings, specifications, levels and dimensions, ensuring all construction activities are completed accurately.
- Complete as-built surveys, site measurements, quality inspections and maintain accurate engineering records and QA documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience working as a Site Engineer in Ireland.
- Strong setting out and surveying experience using Total Station and GPS equipment.
- Previous experience on roadworks or rail infrastructure would be beneficial.
