Overview:
An established Irish Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to join the team on a major road and infrastructure project in County Louth.
This is a great opportunity for an Engineer with around 2-3+ years of experience who wants to build strong, hands-on experience across road construction, earthworks, drainage, utilities and associated infrastructure works.
A significant proportion of their work is delivered through their own direct workforce, managed by experienced Civil Engineers and supported by an extensive fleet of modern plant and equipment.
They have a long history within the Irish civil engineering sector and have delivered hundreds of infrastructure projects across roads, bridges, rail, earthworks, water, marine and other specialist civil works.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out and surveying for roadworks, earthworks, drainage, utilities and associated civil works using Total Station, GPS and other surveying equipment
- Coordinate day-to-day engineering activities with the Senior Engineer, Site Agent, Foremen, subcontractors and suppliers
- Check drawings, levels, dimensions and specifications, ensuring works are completed accurately and to the required quality standards
- Complete site measurements, as-built surveys, quality inspections and maintain accurate engineering and site records
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 2-3+ years of experience working as a Site Engineer in Ireland
- Strong setting out and surveying experience with Total Station and GPS
- Previous experience on roads or civil infrastructure projects would be highly beneficial
