Overview:
A long established Irish Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join its team on a new build Data Centre Development in North Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience on a technically demanding, large-scale construction project involving significant reinforced concrete works, structural elements, underground services, drainage, utilities and associated site infrastructure.
You'll be joining one of Ireland's most respected Main Contractors, a company with decades of experience delivering high profile construction projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare, education, pharmaceutical and data centre sectors.
The company has developed a strong reputation for investing in its people, with a particular emphasis on developing Engineers through practical experience, ongoing training and opportunities to take on greater responsibility.
Rather than being limited to setting out, you'll gain valuable exposure to the wider construction process, working closely with experienced Senior Engineers, Site Managers and Project
Managers on the coordination and delivery of complex building works.
Engineers who demonstrate the right attitude and technical ability are encouraged to progress quickly, with genuine opportunities to move into Senior Engineer positions and ultimately into construction management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out, levelling and surveying activities, ensuring all works are completed accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Oversee quality control procedures, including concrete cube sampling, slump testing and inspections of shuttering, reinforcement and dimensions prior to concrete pours.
- Work closely with the Senior Engineer, Site Manager and subcontractors to coordinate daily site activities and ensure works progress in line with the construction programme.
- Maintain accurate site records, including site diaries, QA documentation, material reconciliation records and updates to the Document Management System.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working as a Site Engineer in Ireland.
- Strong setting out experience using Total Station and other surveying equipment.
- Good understanding of RC works, pre-pour inspections and QA/QC procedures.
