A well-established Civil Engineering Main Contractor is seeking a Site Engineer for a major water infrastructure project based in Co. Kildare. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with 2–5 years of experience who’s eager to take on greater responsibility, work on technically challenging projects, and develop with a company that values continuous professional growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily engineering operations across all phases of a major water infrastructure project.
- Perform setting out, surveying, and quality assurance checks on civil works including pipelines, chambers, and associated structures.
- Work alongside the Project Manager and Senior Engineers to ensure technical accuracy, safety, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain efficient site progress.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years’ experience in a Site Engineer role in Ireland.
- Strong technical ability in setting out using GPS/Total Station and a good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
