Overview:
A highly respected Irish Civil Engineering Contractor is currently looking for a Site Engineer to join their team on major infrastructure projects in the Leinster region. The portfolio of works includes water and wastewater infrastructure, road and transport projects and general civil engineering works.
This position offers far more than a standard setting-out role. You will be given real responsibility on site, working alongside an experienced Project Manager and construction team to drive progress, manage technical queries and ensure works are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in the coordination and delivery of daily site operations, ensuring works align with programme targets and health & safety requirements.
- Supervise subcontractors and site crews, monitoring productivity, workmanship and compliance with specifications.
- Manage engineering and quality documentation, including drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, inspections, and as-built records.
- Liaise with designers, clients and other stakeholders to resolve engineering issues and maintain momentum on site.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years’ experience working as a Site Engineer within the Irish civil engineering industry.
- Background working on civil engineering projects such as water, roads, utilities, marine or general civils.
- Strong technical ability with a solid understanding of QA/QC procedures and site management processes.
