The Company
A busy civil engineering and groundworks contractor delivering residential infrastructure, site development and civil engineering packages across Dublin and the wider Leinster region.
The company works alongside major main contractors on large residential developments, delivering groundworks, foundations, drainage, roads, footpaths and associated external works.
They are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong residential and civil engineering background to take responsibility for a substantial civils package on a 500 unit residential development in South Dublin.
An immediate start is available.
The Role: Site Manager
This is a hands-on Site Manager position overseeing the civils package on a 500 unit residential development in South Dublin.
You will take responsibility for daily site operations, managing groundworks crews, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring all works are delivered safely, to specification and in line with the construction programme.
The works involve heavy groundworks, excavation, footings, foundations, drainage, footpaths and associated external infrastructure.
The contractor needs someone with strong practical civils experience who can come onto site, take control of the works and keep the programme moving from day one.
Must Have Requirements
Must have proven experience as a Site Manager on residential and civil engineering construction projects.
Strong hands-on experience managing heavy groundworks, footings, foundations and drainage installations.
Experience delivering civils packages on apartment developments or large residential schemes is required.
Must be confident managing site crews, subcontractors and daily construction activities.
Must be available for an immediate or short notice start.

- Ensure all works comply with construction drawings and project specifications.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety across the site.
- Monitor daily progress and ensure works remain on programme.
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials and site deliveries.
- Liaise with the main contractor, engineers and project management team.
- Maintain accurate site records, inspections and progress reports.
