The Company
A Tier 2 Irish main contractor delivering commercial, hospitality and residential construction projects across Dublin and the wider Irish market.
The company has secured a 100+ unit hotel redevelopment in North Dublin City Centre, involving refurbishment works, specialist fit out packages and high-quality internal finishes.
With a strong pipeline of hospitality and commercial projects, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day construction activities on this North Dublin development.
The Role: Site Manager
This is a Site Manager position on a 100+ unit hotel redevelopment and specialist fit out project in North Dublin City Centre.
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, coordinating subcontractors, managing construction activities and ensuring works progress safely and in line with the agreed programme.
The project involves refurbishment works, internal partitions, ceilings, specialist joinery, M&E installations and detailed finishing packages.
You will play an important role in coordinating trades, maintaining quality standards and ensuring the hotel fit out progresses efficiently through to snagging and handover.
The position would suit a Site Manager with strong commercial refurbishment or specialist fit out experience who is comfortable managing multiple subcontractors in a busy city centre environment.

About You
You are an experienced Site Manager with a strong main contractor background and a practical understanding of commercial refurbishment and specialist fit out projects.
You understand the importance of subcontractor coordination, construction sequencing and attention to detail when delivering hotel accommodation and high-quality internal finishes.
You will be organised, approachable and confident managing trades on site, with the ability to identify potential delays and keep works moving to programme.
Experience delivering hotel developments or commercial fit out projects in Dublin would be particularly beneficial.

- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in site management on Irish construction projects.
- Proven experience delivering commercial refurbishment, hotel developments or specialist fit out projects.
- Experience working with an Irish main contractor is required.
- Strong experience coordinating subcontractors, managing site programmes and overseeing high-quality finishing works.
- Good knowledge of Irish health and safety requirements, quality control and construction sequencing.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience on hotel refurbishment or hospitality fit out projects.
- Experience coordinating specialist joinery, partitions, ceilings, flooring and finishing trades.
- Knowledge of M&E coordination, commissioning and final handover procedures.
- Experience managing construction works in restricted Dublin City Centre locations
- Procore or similar construction management software experience beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations on the 100+ unit hotel redevelopment in North Dublin.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site personnel to maintain programme delivery
- Oversee refurbishment works, specialist fit out packages and internal finishing activities.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to plan upcoming works and manage subcontractor sequencing.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping across the site.
- Monitor workmanship, carry out quality inspections and ensure works meet project specifications.
- Coordinate material deliveries, site logistics and access arrangements.
- Liaise with engineers, design consultants and M&E subcontractors to resolve site issues.
- Manage snagging, finishing works and preparation for final handover.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager and wider site team.
