The Company

Our client is one of Ireland’s leading Tier 1 main contractors, renowned for delivering high-profile residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across Dublin and nationwide.

With a strong pipeline of large-scale urban apartment schemes, they are recognised for their technical expertise, progressive approach to construction, and commitment to quality, safety, and innovation. Their residential portfolio includes some of the most complex and high-density projects in the capital, with values typically ranging from €50m to €250m .

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead delivery on a flagship apartment development in Dublin City.


The Role – Site Manager

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations on a major apartment build, coordinating subcontractors and site teams to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to exceptional quality standards.

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will drive site performance from early works through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily management and coordination of site labour and specialist subcontractors.
  
  
• Support programme delivery by monitoring progress against milestones and resolving issues early.
  
  
• Ensure works are carried out to the highest quality standards across all phases.
  
  
• Enforce compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures at all times.
  
  
• Manage site logistics, sequencing, and resource planning to maintain momentum.
  
  
• Build strong supply chain relationships, promoting a positive and high-performing site culture.
  
  
• Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and documentation for management review.
  
  
• Drive efficient completion of works through proactive planning and clear communication.
  
  

About You

• 6  years’ Site Management experience with a main contractor.
  
  
• Proven track record on large-scale residential or mixed-use apartment developments.
  
  
• Third level qualification in Construction/Engineering or strong trade background with excellent knowledge of trades and sequencing.
  
  
• Strong leadership and delegation skills with the ability to manage multiple work fronts.
  
  
• High attention to detail and a consistent focus on quality and safety.
  
  
• IT literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
  
  
• Collaborative team player who communicates clearly with project teams and subcontractors.
