The Role – Site Manager
Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations and ensuring delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality targets.
You’ll lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and oversee health, safety, and quality compliance, ensuring the successful execution of every stage of this flagship project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from groundwork to handover.
- Ensure adherence to HSEQ systems and procedures, maintaining top-tier safety standards.
- Supervise subcontractors, forepersons, and site operatives to achieve production targets.
- Plan and manage logistics, deliveries, and site traffic efficiently.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain programme and sequencing of trades.
- Oversee finishing works to maximise quality and minimise rework.
- Monitor labour, plant, and overhead costs in line with project budgets.
- Maintain detailed site records and ensure quality documentation compliance.
About You
- 7+ years’ experience in a Site Management role with a main contractor or developer.
- Proven track record on large-scale residential or mixed-use developments.
- Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing, HSEQ procedures, and finishing trades.
- Trade or construction management background preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards under pressure while leading diverse teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
