The Role – Site Manager
As Site Manager, you’ll take responsibility for managing all on-site operations on multi-unit residential and apartment developments in the Donegal area.
You’ll lead a well-established team of subcontractors, trades, and site staff, ensuring quality, programme, and safety standards are achieved throughout every phase of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations from groundworks to completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials to deliver on time and on budget.
- Maintain a strong focus on Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and compliance.
- Lead weekly progress meetings and ensure clear communication across all teams.
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and quality documentation.
- Manage logistics, scheduling, and sequencing of trades efficiently.
- Liaise with design teams, clients, and internal management to resolve issues quickly.
- Drive a professional, collaborative, and results-focused site culture.
About You?
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager on residential or mixed-use developments.
- Proven success delivering multi-unit housing or apartment projects to a high standard.
- Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing, trades, and building methods.
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Confident in managing subcontractors and leading diverse teams.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office, project reporting tools).
- Trade background or degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
- Valid SafePass and Manual Handling certification required.
