Job title: Architectural Technologist – Residential Development

This established Irish residential developer has a strong pipeline of housing and apartment developments across Dublin and the wider Leinster region.
With its head office based in Co Meath, the company manages projects from early design and planning stages through construction and handover. They have a strong technical team in place and offer good exposure to the full residential development process.
The Role: Architectural Technologist
This is a head office based Architectural Technologist role in Co Meath, working under a Senior Architect and supporting the design and technical delivery of residential developments across Dublin and Leinster.
You will prepare and coordinate architectural drawings and technical information, work closely with internal construction teams and external consultants, and carry out regular site visits to ensure design information is being correctly implemented on site.
The role offers a good balance between office based technical work and practical site involvement across live residential developments.

Must Have Requirements:
- Must have previous experience working as an Architectural Technologist or in a similar architectural or technical design role
- Required experience producing detailed construction drawings and technical packages
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD is required
- Must be comfortable carrying out regular site visits across Dublin and Leinster
Preferred Experience:
- Previous residential development or housing experience preferred
- Experience coordinating architectural information with structural and M&E consultants beneficial
- Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and residential construction standards
- Revit experience would be beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings for residential projects
- Work directly under the Senior Architect on the technical development of projects
- Coordinate drawings and design information with engineers, consultants and construction teams
- Review technical information and identify design or coordination issues
- Assist with planning, tender and construction stage documentation
- Carry out site visits across Dublin and the wider Leinster region
- Liaise with site teams to resolve technical queries during construction
- Review works on site against architectural drawings and specifications
- Maintain accurate drawing registers, revisions and project documentation
- Support the Senior Architect with the delivery of multiple residential projects through design and construction stages
- Ensure drawings and technical details comply with relevant Irish Building Regulations and project requirements
