We are seeking an Area Service Coordinator to support day-to-day service operations across the Cork region. This role involves coordinating mechanical, electrical and ICA service activities for municipal, industrial and commercial clients, ensuring that service teams are organised efficiently and that customer needs are met to a high standard.
The role involves scheduling service crews, liaising with clients, coordinating internal teams and ensuring that planned and reactive maintenance activities are delivered safely, on time and with strong technical and commercial awareness.

Area Service Coordinator Skills:
- Strong technical understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
- Experience working with or managing a computerised service management system.
- Excellent organisational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple crews and tasks.
- Strong communication skills when working with customers, engineering teams and service technicians.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and support emergency callouts.
- Experience in technical problem-solving and supporting on-site teams with fault investigation.
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset to support growth and client satisfaction.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a service-related industry is advantageous.
- Full clean driving licence required.
- Manage customer queries from first contact through to preparing tailored service plans.
- Coordinate weekly schedules for service crews and ensure all resources, tools and parts are available prior to site works.
- Oversee both preventative and reactive maintenance programmes for key customers.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure service reports, proposals and corrective actions are communicated clearly.
- Review service work reports, ensure accurate documentation and manage timely invoicing in line with payment terms.
- Procure replacement parts and liaise with suppliers to ensure correct materials are sourced.
- Collaborate with internal departments to assign repairs, installations or upgrades in conjunction with workshop teams.
- Respond to emergency calls, reprioritise workloads and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Carry out occasional site visits to assess customer needs and support the development of service delivery plans.
