Building Services Coordinator

We are seeking a Building Services Coordinator to support the coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical services on complex construction projects across the Dublin region.

This role offers exposure to both design and site activities, working closely with project teams, consultants and specialist subcontractors to ensure MEP services are coordinated effectively from early planning through commissioning and final handover.

The position suits a technically minded professional with strong coordination skills and a background in electrical installation or design who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment.

Building Services Coordinator Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Relevant third-level qualification or recognised professional certification in building services, electrical or construction-related discipline
• 2–5 years’ experience in an MEP coordination, building services or similar technical role
• Background in electrical installation, electrical design or M&E site engineering
• Strong experience reviewing drawings, specifications and BIM models
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital document management platforms
• Full clean Irish driving licence

As a Building Services Coordinator:

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical services delivery across all project stages
• Participate in pre-construction planning, site activities, testing, commissioning and final handover
• Manage design information, technical submissions and approvals in line with project programmes
• Coordinate information flow between design teams and MEP subcontractors
• Monitor MEP installations on site, ensuring inspections and stage checks are completed in line with approved drawings and specifications
• Chair and contribute to regular coordination meetings with specialist subcontractors
• Identify, track and manage design changes or discrepancies between drawings and specifications
• Provide weekly progress updates and reports to the wider project team
• Ensure all MEP works are delivered in compliance with health and safety requirements
• Support client demonstrations and system walkdowns in line with design intent
• Coordinate the preparation of safety file documentation for project completion
• Assist with the preparation, collation and upload of BCAR documentation

The Package: Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least 70,000 plus package.
