This established Irish main contractor operates nationally, delivering projects through traditional main contracting, Design & Build, modular construction and project management.
Their portfolio covers commercial, industrial, residential, education, healthcare, retail, hospitality, sports and infrastructure projects for both public and private sector clients. The business has particular experience in Design & Build and Modern Methods of Construction, with a strong pipeline of work across Ireland.
The Role: Bid Manager
Based from the company’s head office in North Dublin, Co Dublin, the Bid Manager will take responsibility for coordinating and preparing high quality tender submissions across a varied construction portfolio.
Working closely with the estimating, commercial, preconstruction and senior management teams, you will manage the bid process from initial enquiry through to final submission, ensuring tenders are accurate, well structured and aligned with client requirements.

You will have a background in construction bids, tendering or preconstruction and understand how a main contractor approaches competitive tender submissions.
You should be highly organised, comfortable managing multiple deadlines and capable of gathering technical and commercial information from different departments. Strong writing skills and attention to detail are important, along with a practical understanding of construction terminology and project delivery.

- Must have previous bid management, tender coordination or preconstruction experience within the construction industry
- Proven experience preparing and managing construction tender submissions is required
- Strong written communication and document preparation skills
- Good understanding of main contractor tendering and procurement processes
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Design & Build tenders preferred
- Exposure to public and private sector procurement beneficial
- Knowledge of modular construction or Modern Methods of Construction would be an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full bid and tender submission process from initial review through to final submission
- Coordinate input from estimating, commercial, design, planning and operational teams
- Review tender documentation and identify key submission requirements
- Prepare clear, detailed and commercially focused written bid content
- Develop construction methodologies, project experience and supporting tender information
- Ensure all submissions are completed accurately and within tender deadlines
- Maintain bid libraries, company information and standard tender documentation
- Support prequalification questionnaires and framework submissions
- Work closely with senior management on bid strategy and tender presentations
- Review completed submissions and help improve future bid performance
