BIM Coordinator Skills:
- Over 3 years of experience in BIM coordination.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
- Degree in an Engineering or Design-related discipline.
- Proficient in Navisworks and Revit, with knowledge of other BIM software being a plus.
- Detail-oriented and solution-focused.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
As a BIM Coordinator:
- Implementing project standards, methods, and procedures in line with ISO 19650 Part 1 & 2:2018.
- Ensuring compliance with client requirements as outlined in Exchange Information Requirements, making sure all milestones are delivered on time and to the required standard.
- Managing federated models, running clash detection, data verification, and model health checks, and communicating issues to project leads and task teams.
- Acting as Project Information Manager, working closely with the project team to achieve objectives.
- Creating and maintaining project-specific digital plans, including BIM Execution Plans, Asset Management Plans, TIDPs, and MIDPs.
- Leading BIM coordination meetings and facilitating workshops with task teams.
- Developing BIM coordination schedules in line with construction sequences.
- Supporting internal audits and helping to implement new technologies within the team.
