The Company Your new company are a well established Irish mechanical engineering contractor delivering complex building services installations across Ireland. Their projects span the pharmaceutical, data centre, healthcare, commercial and advanced manufacturing sectors where high quality engineering and coordinated BIM delivery are essential.
With a strong pipeline of large scale projects and a reputation for technical excellence, they continue to invest heavily in their BIM capability. Their team works closely with design engineers, project managers and site teams to ensure high quality digital coordination across all stages of project delivery.
The Role – BIM Modeller The BIM Modeller will play a key role in the coordination and delivery of mechanical building services models across a range of high value construction projects. Working within an established BIM team, you will develop and manage detailed 3D models to support coordination, clash detection and accurate installation on site.
This role is critical in ensuring that mechanical systems are fully coordinated with other building services and structural elements before construction begins. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, subcontractors and project teams to deliver coordinated BIM models that support quality, safety and programme delivery.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, subcontractors and project teams to deliver coordinated BIM models that support quality, safety and programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical building services including HVAC, pipework and associated plant.
- Produce coordinated models using Revit in line with project BIM standards and protocols.
- Participate in clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or similar platforms.
- Work closely with mechanical design engineers to translate design information into accurate construction models.
- Collaborate with electrical, structural and architectural teams to ensure full services coordination.
- Generate drawings, sections and schedules directly from BIM models.
- Maintain BIM documentation, model revisions and drawing registers.
- Support site teams by providing coordinated drawings and resolving technical queries.
- Assist in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to model review sessions.
- Ensure all BIM deliverables meet client and project requirements.
- Experience working as a BIM Modeller or Revit Technician within building services or MEP construction
- Strong proficiency in Revit MEP with experience modelling mechanical systems
- Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and coordination
- Understanding of HVAC systems, pipework layouts and mechanical services installation
- Experience working on commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, data centre or industrial projects is desirable
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to model accuracy and quality
- Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with project teams
- Ability to manage deadlines and work within fast paced project environments
