The Role – Building Services Engineer
This is an opportunity for a Building Services Engineer to join a growing mechanical and electrical engineering team delivering projects across the Midlands. The role will involve supporting the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages on commercial, healthcare and institutional projects, ensuring work is completed safely, to specification and within programme.
You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors and site teams to coordinate building services installations, maintain quality standards and ensure projects progress smoothly from design through installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €55,000 – €70,000 DOE plus package

You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors and site teams to coordinate building services installations, maintain quality standards and ensure projects progress smoothly from design through installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all mechanical and electrical works are delivered in full compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- Coordinate M&E installation activities across site teams and subcontractors
- Monitor programme milestones and assist with planning and scheduling of works
- Review technical drawings, specifications and building services designs
- Manage quality inspections and ensure installations meet project standards
- Assist with procurement and coordination of mechanical and electrical materials
- Track progress and report on programme delivery to project management
- Liaise with consultants, clients and design teams throughout project delivery
- Maintain accurate project documentation and site reports
- Degree or diploma in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Experience working on M&E projects such as commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical or education buildings
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical installations and electrical services coordination
- Experience working with contractors or mechanical and electrical engineering companies
- Strong communication and coordination skills across project teams
- Ability to manage priorities and maintain programme deadlines
- Detail focused with a strong commitment to quality delivery
Salary: €55,000 – €70,000 DOE plus package
