This Irish main contractor has a strong track record delivering large residential and mixed use developments across Dublin and the wider Leinster region.
With a substantial pipeline of work secured, they are currently delivering a multi million euro residential development in North Dublin, Co Dublin. The company is known for well run sites, experienced project teams and a practical approach to programme delivery, quality and health and safety.
The Role: Civils Foreman
As Civils Foreman, you will take responsibility for the day to day management and coordination of the civil works package on a large residential development in North Dublin.
You will work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, engineers and subcontractors to keep groundworks, drainage, utilities, roads and external works progressing in line with programme.
This is a hands on site role where strong subcontractor coordination, planning and knowledge of residential civils will be important to maintaining progress across the development.

About You
You will be an experienced Civils Foreman with a strong background delivering groundworks and infrastructure packages on Irish construction projects.
You should be comfortable managing several civil subcontractors at the same time and have a practical understanding of drainage, services, roads, external works and residential site sequencing.
You will be organised, confident dealing with engineers and site management, and capable of driving works forward while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have proven experience working as a Civils Foreman, Groundworks Foreman or General Foreman on construction projects in Ireland
- Proven experience required delivering groundworks, drainage, utilities, roads and external works
- Residential construction experience is required
- Strong experience coordinating civil subcontractors and site crews
- Good understanding of health and safety, drawings and construction programmes
Preferred Experience
- Experience on large scale housing or apartment developments preferred
- Main contractor experience beneficial
- Experience working alongside engineers on setting out, drainage and infrastructure works
- Strong knowledge of Irish residential construction standards
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all civils and groundworks activities across the residential development
- Oversee drainage, utilities, roads, footpaths, ducting, foundations and external works
- Coordinate subcontractors, plant, labour and materials to maintain programme
- Work closely with the Site Manager and engineering team to plan upcoming works
- Monitor workmanship and ensure civil works are completed in line with drawings and specifications
- Maintain high standards of health and safety across all civils operations
- Identify potential programme issues and coordinate solutions before they affect progress
- Monitor daily productivity and ensure subcontractors are meeting agreed targets
