This specialist contractor has a strong track record delivering high specification fit out and technically demanding construction projects across Ireland and Europe.
With a strong pipeline of data centre work, they are looking to strengthen their Dublin commercial team with an experienced Commercial Manager who can take ownership of commercial performance across major fit out packages.
The Role: Commercial Manager
This Commercial Manager role is based in Dublin, Co Dublin, working on a major data centre fit out project and taking a senior position within the commercial team.
You will have responsibility for cost control, procurement, subcontractor management, variations, forecasting and commercial reporting, working closely with the project delivery team to protect margin and keep the project commercially on track.

About You
You will be an experienced Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong construction background and the ability to take ownership of the commercial delivery of a major project.
You will be commercially sharp, confident dealing with subcontractors and project teams, and comfortable managing cost, contracts and risk in a demanding data centre fit out environment.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have strong experience in a senior commercial or Quantity Surveying position within construction
- Proven experience required managing major subcontract packages and commercial reporting
- Must have experience working on large scale construction, fit out or technically demanding projects
- Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, variations and final accounts is required
Preferred Experience
- Data centre construction or fit out experience preferred
- Previous experience with a specialist contractor beneficial
- Experience managing or mentoring Quantity Surveyors within a commercial team advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial management of the data centre fit out project
- Manage budgets, forecasts, cost reporting and commercial risk throughout delivery
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, appointments, valuations and final accounts
- Manage variations, contractual matters and change control
- Work closely with project teams to monitor programme progress and its commercial impact
- Provide accurate commercial reporting to senior management and support the wider commercial team
About You
You will be an experienced Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong construction background and the ability to take ownership of the commercial delivery of a major project.
