The Role: CSA Project Manager
This CSA Project Manager role is based on a major data centre project in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will take full responsibility for the Civil, Structural and Architectural packages from construction through to handover.
The successful CSA Project Manager will oversee subcontractor management, programme delivery, quality control, commercial performance, and client coordination while ensuring all CSA activities integrate effectively with MEP installations and commissioning programmes.
This is a senior project leadership role requiring extensive experience delivering large-scale construction projects within fast-track environments.
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have 10 years' experience within a main contractor environment
• Proven experience required managing Civil, Structural and Architectural packages on large-scale construction projects
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline required
• Strong technical understanding of CSA works and programme delivery
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and client stakeholders on complex projects
Preferred Experience:
• Data centre project experience preferred
• High-tech industrial, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or mission-critical project experience beneficial
• Experience working on fast-track construction programmes
• Strong understanding of cost control, procurement, and project reporting
Nice to Have:
• International project delivery experience
• BIM and digital construction management experience
• Commercial management exposure
• Commissioning and project handover experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage overall CSA project budgets, costs, and programme delivery
• Lead all Civil, Structural and Architectural work packages on site
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers throughout project delivery
• Monitor critical path activities and mitigate programme risks
• Review subcontractor pricing, scopes, and procurement packages
• Chair project coordination and client meetings
• Track construction costs and prepare detailed project reports
• Manage long-lead materials and procurement schedules
• Review and validate project budgets and cost forecasts
• Coordinate CSA activities with MEP and commissioning teams
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes
• Monitor installation progress and completion of architectural finishes
• Review payment applications, invoices, and retention releases
• Lead project handover, close-out, and final documentation processes
About You
You are an experienced CSA Project Manager with a proven track record delivering large-scale construction projects within a main contractor environment. You have strong leadership skills and can successfully coordinate multidisciplinary teams while maintaining focus on safety, quality, budget, and programme.
You possess excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities and are comfortable operating within technically demanding environments where close coordination between CSA, MEP, and commissioning teams is essential.
Your commercial awareness, organisational ability, and problem-solving skills allow you to manage complex project challenges while driving successful project outcomes.
