The Role: EHS Advisor
This is a site-based EHS Advisor role on a large-scale data centre construction project in Dublin, Co Dublin.
You will work closely with the Project Management team and senior EHS personnel to maintain and improve Environmental, Health & Safety standards across the project. The role will involve daily site inspections, subcontractor coordination, safety documentation management, toolbox talks, and ensuring all works are carried out in line with Irish construction safety legislation and project procedures.
The successful EHS Advisor will play a key role in maintaining compliance, driving safe behaviours on site, and supporting programme delivery within a busy live construction environment.

You will come from a construction or engineering background with solid experience working in an EHS Advisor role on major construction projects.
You will be organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving site environment where maintaining high safety standards is critical to successful project delivery.
The ideal EHS Advisor will have strong communication skills, confidence dealing with subcontractors and site teams, and the ability to manage Environmental, Health & Safety requirements independently while contributing positively within a wider project team.

Must Have Requirements:
- Must have a relevant third level qualification in Health & Safety
- Proven experience required on large construction projects in Ireland
- Must have strong knowledge of Irish Environmental, Health & Safety legislation
- Experience with a main contractor or specialist construction contractor is required
- Strong communication and reporting skills required
- Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or mission critical project experience preferred
- Experience managing subcontractor EHS compliance on live sites beneficial
- Strong IT and digital reporting skills advantageous
- Experience delivering toolbox talks and site inductions preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Management team and Site EHS Lead on all Environmental, Health & Safety matters
- Ensure compliance with company safety management systems and project execution plans
- Review RAMS, permits to work, method statements, and safe plans of action
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits across all construction activities
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with project EHS procedures and standards
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective action reporting
- Maintain records relating to statutory inspections, plant, tools, and equipment
- Coordinate site inductions, training records, and safety interventions
- Deliver toolbox talks and daily activity briefings
- Monitor COSHH assessments and hazardous substance controls
- Support waste reduction and recycling initiatives on site
- Promote strong safety culture across all site teams and subcontractors
