Electrical Engineer Skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an electrical engineering role within the construction or building services industry.
- Strong understanding of Irish electrical regulations and standards.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and electrical design software (e.g., Amtech, Revit MEP, Dialux or similar).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Valid work permit for Ireland
- Full driver’s license desirable.
- Experience working on commercial or large-scale mixed-use developments.
- Irish Construction Experience
As an Electrical Engineer
- Assist in the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
- Support project managers in monitoring site progress and ensuring all electrical works are delivered to spec, on time, and within budget.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other key stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
- Perform site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with design, standards, and safety regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and specifications.
- Contribute to value engineering and design development processes.
- Ensure compliance with national regulations, building codes, and relevant safety standards.
