The Role – Electrical Engineer
You will join a growing engineering team delivering design works on transmission and distribution grid connection projects. Working closely with senior engineers, you will play a key role in developing electrical designs, supporting feasibility studies, and contributing to project delivery from concept through to construction.
This role offers a mix of office-based design work and occasional site involvement, giving you full project lifecycle exposure across power infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €45,000 – €60,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in electrical design for overhead lines and underground cable systems
- Support feasibility studies for renewable energy grid connections including solar, wind, and battery projects
- Carry out site investigations, route selection, and surveys
- Prepare material specifications and Bills of Quantities
- Compile technical design reports and documentation
- Produce detailed electrical design drawings
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team on transmission and distribution projects
- Contribute to project delivery from feasibility through to construction support
- Assist with tender submissions and technical evaluations
- Carry out site quality inspections during construction phases
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
- Strong interest in power engineering, transmission, or grid infrastructure
- Experience in electrical design or engineering is beneficial but not essential
- Good technical ability with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office, with AutoCAD knowledge an advantage
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel to site when required
- Full driving licence
Salary: €45,000 – €60,000 DOE
