The Role: Senior MEP Project Manager

This Senior MEP Project Manager role is based in Germany on a large scale engineering project with a long term delivery programme and structured rotation.

You will take full responsibility for the delivery of large mechanical and electrical packages from preconstruction through to commissioning and final handover. The successful Senior MEP Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial and site functions while ensuring programme, commercial and quality targets are achieved.

This role suits an experienced MEP Project Manager with strong data centre, pharmaceutical or industrial construction experience who is comfortable operating in a fast paced live project environment across Europe.

Must Have Requirements

• Proven experience required as a Senior MEP Project Manager or MEP Project Manager on large scale construction projects
• Experience managing MEP packages valued above €20M is required
• Strong background in data centre, pharmaceutical or industrial construction projects
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary project delivery teams
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience required

Preferred Experience

• EXperience working on European construction projects
• Exposure to commissioning and integrated systems testing
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services coordination
• Experience managing complex client and stakeholder relationships
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and digital project management systems beneficial

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of major MEP construction packages
• Manage project execution plans, programmes and delivery milestones
• Coordinate engineering, commercial and construction teams across all project stages
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
• Oversee subcontractor management, procurement and commercial reporting
• Monitor project risks, variations and cost performance
• Chair client meetings, progress reviews and technical workshops
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across all project activities
• Oversee quality assurance, commissioning and project handover processes
• Drive collaboration across internal teams, consultants and supply chain partnerS

• Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Commercially aware with strong programme delivery capability
• Comfortable managing large multidisciplinary construction teams
• Strong stakeholder management experience in client facing environments
• Ability to operate effectively within fast paced mission critical construction projects
• Organised, detail focused and capable of driving delivery across complex project environments
