The Company
This established electrical contractor delivers complex building services projects across Ireland, working with leading clients in the data centre, pharmaceutical, commercial, industrial and mission-critical sectors.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their Dublin-based engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging projects while gaining exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle, from design coordination through to commissioning and final handover.
The Role: Electrical Project Engineer
Reporting to the Project Manager and Engineering Manager, you will provide technical support across the delivery of electrical building services projects, ensuring installations are completed safely, to specification and in line with programme requirements.
Working closely with site management, design teams, commissioning engineers, subcontractors and client representatives, you will coordinate engineering activities, manage technical documentation and support successful project delivery from start to finish.
Must Have Requirements
You are an Electrical Project Engineer with a solid technical background and a practical understanding of electrical building services projects. You are comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams, enjoy solving technical challenges and have the organisation and attention to detail needed to manage engineering documentation on fast-moving construction projects.

Must Have Requirements
- 3–5 years' experience as an Electrical Project Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Building Services Engineer.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, technical submittals and engineering documentation.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience working on construction projects in Ireland is preferred.
- Coordinate electrical engineering activities from design through to commissioning and final handover.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation while managing RFIs and technical submittals.
- Provide technical support to site management teams and ensure engineering registers, logs and project documentation remain up to date.
- Support QA/QC processes, Inspection Test Plans, electrical testing, commissioning activities and system handovers.
- Prepare Operation & Maintenance manuals, maintain red-line drawings and review as-built documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and commissioning teams to resolve technical issues and ensure projects are delivered to programme and quality standards.
You are an Electrical Project Engineer with a solid technical background and a practical understanding of electrical building services projects. You are comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams, enjoy solving technical challenges and have the organisation and attention to detail needed to manage engineering documentation on fast-moving construction projects.
