Electrical Project Manager - Cork

You are an experienced Electrical Project Manager, looking to join a well-established and growing electrical contractor delivering large-scale projects across Munster.

Electrical Project Manager Skills:

• Relevant 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  
  
• Ideally 5 years’ experience in a management role within the electrical industry
  
  
• Proven ability to deliver large-scale electrical projects from concept through to handover
  
  
• Strong understanding of financial management, commercial awareness, and budgetary control
  
  
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and motivate project teams
  
  
• Excellent organisational skills with strong planning and scheduling capability
  
  
• Proficient IT skills with the ability to collate and generate detailed site reports
  
  
• Strong communication skills with experience liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  
  
• Health, Safety and Environmental awareness with the ability to implement safe systems of work
  
  

As an Electrical Project Manager:

• Lead electrical construction projects from concept stage through to completion
  
  
• Develop project plans, execution strategies, and delivery programmes
  
  
• Coordinate the daily activities of the project team to ensure smooth site delivery
  
  
• Manage design development, value engineering, and support pre & post contract activities
  
  
• Manage all aspects of procurement, including subcontractor packages and supply chain coordination
  
  
• Monitor material usage, labour allocation, and resource planning to maintain project performance
  
  
• Liaise with teams to ensure weekly reporting, scheduling, and programme updates are completed accurately
  
  
• Conduct project meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to track progress and resolve issues
  
  
• Oversee and control the efficient use of resources and materials to support budget and programme targets
  
  
• Implement company Health & Safety procedures on each project, ensuring compliance and best practice on site
