As part of your new companies continued growth in Ireland, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a permanent role based in Co. Kildare or Dublin, supporting key infrastructure and energy-related projects.

Electrical Quantity Surveyor Skills:
- 3–5+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on electrical or M&E packages.
- Proven track record on large infrastructure, utilities, or industrial projects.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and the construction process from a commercial perspective.
- Knowledge of forms of contract commonly used in Ireland (e.g. Public Works Contract, NEC, FIDIC).
- Proficient in cost reporting and commercial software tools (e.g. Excel, Candy, COINS, or similar).
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience on projects in sectors such as energy, power transmission, or water infrastructure.
- Chartered or working towards chartership with SCSI/RICS or similar professional body.
- Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract QS functions.
As an Electrical Quantity Surveyor:
- Manage the commercial aspects of electrical packages on large-scale civil and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare, submit, and agree interim and final valuations, variations, and claims.
- Assess subcontractor applications, variations, and final accounts.
- Ensure accurate cost control and forecasting, maintaining live cost reports throughout project lifecycle.
- Work with project teams to identify and manage risks and opportunities relating to cost and value.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with operational and technical teams to monitor progress and support decision-making.
- Assist in procurement of electrical subcontractors and materials, including issuing enquiries, tender analysis, and order placement.
- Ensure contractual compliance with all project and client obligations.
- Prepare and issue monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) and commercial reports.
The Package:
Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least €85,000 plus package.
